"A good coach can change a game. A great coach can change a life."
John Wooden
Coaching is a process in support of people striving to become the best they can be.
The process must be fun, challenging, and it must work! It is a process of helping someone discover how to be better at doing things. Coaching is not therapy. Coaching is focused on the future.

Herewith are a few important coaching principles. It is a process with no interest in the history. Coaching has only one aim in mind, and that is to help someone do things better the next time they do it. It is a completely non-judgemental process. A good coach takes a specific position. This position communicates the fact that knowing why we struggle with something, what caused us to struggle, and when in our history did something happen that caused the struggle doesn’t change it. Good coaches are interested in one thing and one thing only: how to help their clients to struggle less, be better in doing the things they should be doing, and how to function at their optimal best.
The world experiences an increase in the number of people being coached as well as the number of professional coaches. Before some detailed aspects are touched, just one simple principle. We are all coaches, and we all coach in moments that we are not even aware of. The moment we help someone to do something better, we have coached. This is exactly what coaching is about. To help someone discover how to be better at doing things. Coaching is not therapy. It doesn’t work with the history of why someone struggles. Coaching is focused on the future. It can be related to anything. Playing sports of a sort, making progress with a career, being better at public speaking, handling conflict, solving life problems, etc.
Shadowmatch Coaches are very well-trained. They work with habits. Habits are behaviors that are programmed in the brain to the point where they take control of much of our behaviors. They work with a very well-structured principle: ‘If you want to change your life, change your habits”. This is all they do. They help their clients to acquire habits that make life easy, and it makes doing things fun.
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
